Is there a Jailbreak/Mod G2 ?

Any way to make my G2(T-Mobbile phone by HTC) run faster, get different processors, jailbreak, etc ? I'm tired of my phone deleting all the contacts and having it revert to numbers, then having to restart it to get my contacts back. As well, it'd be amazing if it could run faster lol.
