Why won't bridge it open?

I have a ati radeon 3200 1.6 ghz processor and 2 gb of ram and enough memory to download it 1000 times. whats wrong? it wont open. the screen turns black for 1 second closes, switches to a 1024x768 sized res and then closes and reverts to my desktop with no message or anything.
