Muslims, did you experience this ?

As a revert I absorbed all I could learn, grasped willing at any lesson I could get from learned Muslims, even you, Brother. Muslimas have guided me. And the lessons I learned I put into practice. For instance, on my house I avoided riba by cashing out retirement funds and paying cash for the balance of what was owed on the house and property thus avoiding interest. But Brother, not all westerners are arrogant, granted, there could be more modesty but understand, females, most of them anyway trust learned Older gentleman and are not shy to ask them personal questions, simply because they understand that at our age they believe we have seen it all anyway and we will take it as a matter of fact instead of in a perverse way. But, my thanks to Allah and to those that He guided to help me into my journey of Islam.
