My hair is elasticy when wet. what do i do?

I went to a beauty salon to dye my hair red. The lady bleached my hair first then dyes it red. When i got home and showered all my hair was elasticy and looked horrible. My hair is already short and i don't want to cut more of it or ill have a boy haircut!! what hair products will make it look healthier again!?
