How to go blonder??:)<3?

okaay how do you make your hair go blonder? i used to be quite blonde then i used this brown wash in wash out dye and it went wrong:L i turned ginger and it didnt completly wash out:( i have been using these john freida "go blonder" shampoo and conditioner. But they aint really working that well. My mate said if you cover yourr hair in lemon juice and stay out in the sun it works a bit? is this true? or is there any other way? also with blonde hair wash in wash out dye do you have to bleach it first? thaanks:D <3<3<3
