Red to Blonde: how do i fix orange hair?

I went from a reddish brown color and bleached my hair, long story short: it's orange. Anyway, i was told if I added a dye (of the ash blonde color that I want as a final result) mixed with a color corrector to my current orange it would be fine, but i'm hesitant. i guess my final question is: how should i remove the orange in my hair, or should i bleach it again, before the final dying process? or do i tone it? thank you! :)
