I got my hair bleached today but it's not light enough...help?

I went to the hairdresser to go to sort of a platinum in front golden blonde all over...im a light brownish i would say. So they did about 200 foils all in my hair, it was ridiculous, and when they took it out it wasnt the blonde i expected unfortunately...should i use some sun-in to get that more golden yellowy blonde from the sun? Im dissapointed i spent like 80 dollars, hard-earned cash for a 16 year old.
